Protect Our Parks!

IVI-IPO has joined the coalition to save Grant Park.  We support the historic designation of Grant Park as "a common, forever open, clear and free," a concept repeatedly affirmed by multiple Supreme Court rulings.  We oppose plans to build the Chicago Children's Museum in Grant Park and urge the museum to consider one of the many alternative sites being proposed.

In further efforts to protect our lakefront and parks, and resist privatization of public facilities, IVI-IPO has signed on to the campaign to stop construction of a soccer field for the Latin School in Lincoln Park.  Please visit the savelincolnpark.org website for more information of how you can get involved.
