2010 General Election Endorsements

·          Download the questionnaire from the webpage where you obtained these instructions.

·          Complete the questionnaire, fill in your answers, save the file.

·          Send your file to iviipopac@yahoo.com

·          Included in your email should be CONTACT information so that we can schedule your interview session

·          The questionnaires need to be received by IVI-IPO by Friday, July 16, 2010.  ONLY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE RETURNED COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES BY THE DEADLINE WILL BE INTERVIEWED AND CONSIDERED FOR ENDORSEMENT.

General Schedule for interview sessions:

Statewide, Cook County Board President and Assessor July 31.

Other races to be scheduled August 1-17.

 You will be asked to bring copies of your completed questionnaire to the interviewing session. You must provide hard copies of your questionnaire.

Completed questionnaires will be posted on the ivi-ipo website one week prior to the interview.

THE INTERVIEW

Candidates for each office are interviewed separately and consecutively by IVI-IPO members residing in the affected electoral district. Each candidate will make a brief presentation, followed by questions from our members. The allowed time in your race will be determined by the chair of your endorsement session.
